Kalika Steel is the most preferred TMT bar manufacturer in Maharashtra.
Without a healthy environment, there is no growth. Kalika Steel understands its responsibility towards sustainable development. Therefore, we promote and follow practices that cause minimum harm to the environment. We also encourage building a greener planet by organising Tree Plantation Drives on various occasions such as Independence Day, Vijay Diwas, and Republic Day.
Kalika Steel has always stood by positive initiatives. When the government of India announced a Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, Kalika wanted to participate in building a cleaner nation. Kalika Steel donated 10 Sulabh Shauchalaya (Toilets) to the local corporation to promote the campaign and improve sanitization in its community.
Awareness of safety practices is essential, especially in the kind of work that we do. To ensure zero accidents, we take many measures. Apart from the measures employed by us at our premises, we also participate in various awareness activities. For example, during an Industrial Safety Week conducted by the Government of India, Kalika Steel introduced a safety slogan and held a drawing competition to motivate employees towards adopting safety measures
Health has always been a priority for Kalika Steel. To ensure a healthy community and workforce, we have built a clean and properly ventilated kitchen and canteen area to prepare and provide healthy, delicious, and nutritious meals to our employees. Apart from meeting the nutrition needs of our team, we also, from time to time, organise health events. In 2019, Kalika Steel took many initiatives towards health and awareness by organising three marathon events.
Riser Dipesh Gupta ran the Mumbai-Jalna Marathon, a distance of 457 km. He completed the marathon in seven days. Apart from this marathon, Kalika Steel with rotary club sponsored the Khamgaon and Shegaon marathon.
HIGHLIGHTS:
Kalika Steel sponsored three marathons: Mumbai-Jalna Marathon (457 km) / Khamgaon Marathon / Shegaon Marathon.
Kalika Steel has always prioritised the health of its workers and community. To promote well-being and awareness, Kalika Steel organises health camps from time to time. It organised an eye check-up camp for its workers and labourers from surrounding areas where free specs were given to those in need. The same camp also tested for HIV and blood sugar levels.
Kalika Steel believes in staying prepared and taking every precaution for the safety of everyone. So, we regularly organise awareness campaigns and training events to ensure everyone is prepared for any adverse event if it ever happens. As part of the Safety Week, we brought professional, certified instructors to train our team members with firefighting procedures and instructions.
Kalika Steel organises a Blood Donation Camp every year to motivate employees to donate blood and save lives. The pictures you are seeing are from one such camp where our 200 employees donated blood during the peak summer season when the blood banks often run short of blood.
Kalika Steel understands its responsibility towards society. We make constant efforts to contribute to building a better community and helping the needy. We believe a stronger, healthier, and equal world is a better world. To help create that world, Kalika Steel has adopted four girls under the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign by the Government of India.
Kalika Steel’s Responsibility:
Mr. Anil N. Goyal, Promoter and Founder Director of Kalika Steel, was awarded during a Times Group’s grand ceremony with the “Times Men of the Year 2018” for his contribution to the industry and community.
